Intended as supplementary readings for an undergraduate course in criminology, this collection of articles highlights current scholarship in psychology as it relates to criminal justice. The work is divided into sections covering police and investigative psychology, criminal and delinquent behavior, legal psychology, victimology and victim services and correctional psychology. Individual articles address such topics as science and pseudo-science in law enforcement, psychopathy and pathological behaviors, confession evidence, issues in victim reporting of sexual and bias crimes and challenges for mentally ill correctional inmates.
