The 21 essays of this collection offer overviews of the research and application of new aviation technologies. Among the topics are the impact of aviation on the environment, emmission assessment, enhancing product safety, managing human factors in developing fighter aircraft, and next generation surveillance technology. At least one of the articles was evidently first presented at a conference. Each article includes new research by the contributors while also summarizing earlier scholarship. The three editors are Evon Abu-Taieh (Arab Academy for Banking and Financial Sciences, UAE); Asim El Sheikh (Arab Academy for Banking and Financial Sciences, UAE); and Mostafa Jafari (Research Institute of Forests and Rangelands, Iran). The articles, which have been translated into English with varying degrees of clarity, include copious b&w illustrations, diagrams, and formulae.
