The trip will take all day, and all of the Littles are armed with weapons in case they meet any unfriendly animals on the dangerous journey.
As it turns out, they do. But thanks to Lucy's surprise weapon -- a jar of pepper -- the Littles survive to complete their hike. At last, Lucy meets her best friend, and what a story the Littles have to tell!
