The Creative Classroom—A Guide for Using Creative Drama in the Classroom Prek-6

The Creative Classroom provides teachers in grades PreK-6 with a number of creative drama strategies for use in the classroom, on a daily basis and across the curriculum.

LENORE BLANK KELNER is a professional actress, director, writer, and educator. She has taught all grade levels from preK-college, and since 1981 she has directed her own educational theatre company, InterAct Story Theatre, which performs in schools, museums, libraries, and theatres all over the United States. She serves as a creative drama specialist/educational consultant to schools nation-wide and abroad. She has been a keynote and featured presenter at many regional and national education conferences including NAEYC, ACEI, NCTE, and AATE. Lenore is a master Teacher for the Wolf Trap Institute for Early Learning Through the Arts in Vienna, Virginia, and serves on their advisory board. In this capacity, she trains teachers and artists nationwide. She has studied acting at Circle in the Square Theatre in New York City and with Shakespeare and company in Lenox, Massachusetts.
