This pocket sized (4.5x8.5") reference presents a set of indicators selected from the global economic and scientific communities. The data demonstrate the relationship between climate change and development and synthesize aspects of current and projected climate conditions, exposure to climate impacts, greenhouse gas emissions, and national efforts to take action. The data draw on several online resources: the Open Data website, the Climate Change Knowledge Portal, and the Open Data for Resilience Initiative, which are from the World Bank and the Global Facility for Disaster Reduction and Recovery. After a section of regional statistics, a section presents data by low-income through high-income countries, the Euro area, and small island developing states. The bulk of the book consists of country statistical tables. There is also a review of statistics on renewable energy in 2010, and a table summarizing national actions, plus a glossary.
