商品簡介
Edited by Freeman (US Naval Postgraduate School), this volume presents case studies exploring how specific groups designated as terrorists are financed. Freeman pens opening chapters introducing the volume and discussing the theory and typology of sources of terrorist financing. Case studies by other authors are then presented on Iraqi insurgent groups, Hezbollah, the Partiya Karkeren Kurdistan, Lashkar-e-Taiba, the Taliban, the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam, groups in the Philippines, Loyalist groups in Northern Ireland, Islamist groups in Albania, the Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias de Colombia, and Colombia's Ejercito de Liberacion Nacional. Notably absent, perhaps unsurprisingly, are any groups that have served as adjuncts of US policy, such as the Nicaraguan Contras or the anti-Castro Cuban groups operating out of Miami.
