Born on a working farm, T. F. Wiklund developed a love for animals and the outdoors at an early age. Those deep roots and family experiences helped form the foundation for his book, The Christmas Pony.Upon graduating from the University of Minnesota, he worked for several large corporations. That business experience helped him establish and operate his own construction business for twenty-five years. Recently retired, Tim has several other books in progress including Maple, The Forgotten Fawn and A Whistle in the Willows.Lifelong Minnesotans, Tim and his wife Michelle raised two sons, and now reside at their lake home in northwestern Wisconsin.
