If Heaven Was a Mile Away

Jessica was born on a cold September morning in Denver Colorado. Yes, I said cold, there was snow on the ground.Jessica loved life but just not her life.Jessica's mother was an alcoholic and a drug addict. It was later on in life that she started to refer to the alcohol & cocaine as her "mothers demons" Because of the addiction of her mother, Jessica suffered.Her mother abused her physically and emotionally.She wrote in her journal that she witnessed hell as a child.She never met her father but she spent many hours a day searching on the Internet for the man whose DNA helped create and make her who she was. I wrote this book in memory of this wonderful loving little girl. She is still with us in our hearts and we know because of Jesus Christ we will be together again someday. God heard Jessica's cry and he used this terrible event to end her suffering. He took her home.He set her free!.
