商品簡介
This is an economics text book that introduces major issues, history, theories, and sociological findings about the economics of development. The text is organized into four major sections and twenty chapters. The major sections are development and growth, distribution and human resources; macroeconomic policies for development; and agriculture, trade and sustainability. The chapters consider development around the world and introduce concepts of growth, development, trade, states, and markets. Further chapters cover major social contexts, like inequality and poverty, population, and education. Part three carries a focus on policies, so these chapters focus on finance and debt. The last section explores our most vital industry, agriculture, and considers dimensions of development. Chapters are written in one large column. The text is geared toward an undergraduate studying economics, but could be grasped by a non-major with some other interest in development.
