Using dialogue as a form of inquiry and the collective voices and innovative ideas of prominent scholars from various fields, this book thoroughly examines the intersection of neoliberalism, neocolonialism, and racism in education. It is the product of a collection of in-depth conversations carried out over the course of three years with committed social justice educators and scholars genuinely concerned with - and who have critically explored through their teaching, along with scholarly, communal, and activist work - class, race, language, and gender issues situated in the context of western neoliberalism and neocolonialism.
