商品簡介
This book is intended as a foundational reference for educators who teach primarily in traditional classroom settings. Contributors from the fields of business policy, leadership development, organizational behavior, and organizational psychology describe their unique approaches to teaching leadership, explore the conceptual roots of their approaches, and assess each approach's strengths and weaknesses. Chapters are organized around approaches emphasizing knowing (cognition), doing (practice), being (identity), and nontraditional educational contexts. Some areas explored are educating leaders for very powerful positions, building self-awareness in leaders, transformational leadership, and peer-to-peer leadership development in the US Army.
