Dr.Spitz has also published multiple journal articles, and he has been invited to lecture nationwide on the topic of Genodermatoses. Dr. Spitz completed his undergraduate training at Princeton University, graduated from medical school at Columbia, completed his pediatric internship atMount Sinai Medical Center in New York and completed his residency in dermatology at Columbia. He is a board certified dermatologist practicing at North Shore Dermatology Associates PC since July 1993. He is a member of the Society of Pediatric Dermatology, American Academy of Dermatology, American Medical Society, and a diplomat ofthe National Board of Medical Examiners.
Alexandra D. McCollum, M.D. completed her undergraduate training at the University of California, Santa Barbara, she graduated from St.Georges University School of Medicine in 2005 and is now a third year pediatrics resident at Schneider Children's hospital in New York. She has a special interest in pediatric dermatology and will next be doing a fellowship in San Diego, one of the top pediatric dermatology programs in the world.
