商品簡介
Edith Stein was born Jewish and died a Discalced Carmelite nun in a concentration camp. Through her spiritual journey she was a scholar in philosophy, particularly Christian anthropology. We remember the saint she became far more than we remember the scholar she was, but Maskulak (theology and spirituality, Alvernia College) reminds us of both in this critique of Stein's work in a variety of topics, including ontology and anthropology, the physical body and the living body, development within the context of the Eucharist, the interconnections among the body, soul and spirit, and Stein's holistic approach as observed by other philosophers such as Pope John Paul II and Wilkie Au.
