Kevin Grieves is an assistant professor in the E.W. Scripps School of Journalism at Ohio University, where he instructs international journalism and broadcast journalism courses. His research on transborder and transnational journalism and different cultures of journalism has appeared in Journalism Studies and in American Journalism, among other venues. Prior to his academic career, he worked for over a decade in television news in the United States and in Europe, primarily as a writer and producer for CNN International. He has always been fascinated by borders, geography, and the role of journalism as a point of contact between cultures.
