Having written extensively about the various rDzogs chen (Great Perfection) traditions of Tibet, Achard (Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique, Paris) here presents the Collected Revelations of bDe cheng gling pa (1833-93). He conducted research for the edition between October 1998 and February 1999 at Triten Norbutse Monastery, which owns one set of the 13-volume collection, which he thinks was not at that time available in any western library. Notes on the 487 items are those he prepared for a 2000-01 seminary; a biography of bDe chen gling pa is contained in his 30-page introduction. Jean-Luc Achard, Ph.D. (1999) in Religious Sciences (EPHE), Sorbonne, is researcher at the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS, Paris). He has published several books and translations on various rDzogs chen traditions including L’Essence Perlee du Secret (1999).
