商品簡介
"Emotional intelligence" is a concept popularized by Daniel Goleman in his 1996 book of that title. Carblis (administrator, Tabor College, New South Wales, Australia) defines relational skills as "soft skills" and argues that such skills can be learned. In the context of his country's National Training Board approach to establishing vocational competencies, he presents a framework for the assessment and training of skills relating to general emotional awareness, and awareness of anger and happiness. Appendices include a sample competency standard; descriptions of these skills; and a transcript of a dialog between the author and a management planner on the application of emotional intelligence training in a corporate setting.
