商品簡介
This volume presents 10 essays originally published in the Journal of Moral Philosophy, a quarterly co-founded in 2004 by Brooks (law, Durham U., UK). The book series, "Studies in Moral Philosophy," was recently launched as a sister publication to the journal. Papers were selected for reprinting in this volume for the value of their discussion in reference to the broad themes of just war and unjust war, self defense, innocent non-combatants and self defense, and just war theory and terrorism. The authors are affiliated with philosophy and political science departments in the UK, Europe, the US, and Israel. Annotation c2013 Book News, Inc., Portland, OR (booknews.com)
