商品簡介
A development and political risk consultant for corporations and governments, Grigas analyzes differences in the relations of Latvia and Estonia to Russia from 1994 to 2012. She begins with the Soviet troop withdrawal from Estonia and Latvia in August 1994, when the two became independent sovereign states and began forging new national agendas. Then she traces divergence and convergence in the policies to the present, including the 2010 decisions of the Baltic presidents to attend or boycott celebrations of the Soviet victory in the Second World War, the 2011 Estonian and Latvian parliamentary elections, and the 2012 Baltic policies towards Gazprom in the face of the European Union's unbundling directives.
