GRAEME HARPER is Director of the National Institute for Excellence in the Creative Industries at Bangor University. He is Chair of the National Association of Writers in Eduction (NAWE) and Editor of New Writing: The International Journal for the Practice and Theory of Creative Writing. He is series editor of Palgrave Macmillan's Appoaches to Writing series and has edited Teaching Creative Writing and Creative Writing Studies. Awarded the first doctorate in creative writing awarded in Australia, he holds a second doctorate in creative and critical writing from the University of East Anglia.
JERI KROLL is Professor in the Department of English, Creative Writing and Australian Studies at Flinders University, Australia. She was President for nearly five years of the Australian Association of Writing Programs and is on the boards of New Writing, TEXT and Australian Book Review. She is the co-editor (with Graeme Harper) of Creative Writing Studies: Practice, Research and Pedagogy.
