Lubben, (Seton Hall U. School of Law) while already a tenured professor, completed this dissertation during his doctoral studies at the University of Groningen, the Netherlands. It is partially based on information he collected during the ABI Chapter 11 Professional Fee Study funded by the American Bankruptcy Institute, the ABI Endowment Fund, and the National Conference of Bankruptcy Judges. Following an introduction and discussion of prior studies, the work addresses the data sets used, directs costs of chapter 11, bankruptcy attorneys, and the roles of financial advisors and turn around consultants.
