David Williams knew he wanted to be an artist at the young age of 11 when he first exhibited his drawings and paintings at an outdoor art fair in Columbus, Indiana. Four years later, he held his first gallery show. A graduate of the BFA Fine Arts program at Parsons School of Design in New York City, Williams teaches drawing at Ivy Tech Community College. He also leads watercolor and oil painting classes at his studio. His watercolors and oil paintings are visual stories involving light on form and the traditional subject matter of still life, landscape, and the human figure. His work is a part of many private and corporate collections.
