Michael Gorman (www.gormanflyfishing.com) is the author of Steelhead Fly Angling: Guerilla Fly Rod Tactics, and founder of Scarlet Ibis Fly Fishing Tours. He has been guiding and teaching fly fishing for more than 30 years. He lives in Corvallis, Oregon, and owned and operated the Scarlet Ibis there for many years, where he was also the head fishing guide. Michael continues as a professional Oregon fly-fishing guide throughout the year, in addition to teaching fishing classes at Oregon State University.
