Technologies from fields as diverse as military hardware to wind power are described in its 99 entries. Each entry gives a brief summary of a specific technology, defines key terms and concepts concerning it, a description of its basic principles, its background and history, a detailed breakdown of how it works, its application, careers involving it, and a description of the future of the technology.
