Introduction to Aircraft Flight Mechanics ─ Performance, Static Stability, Dynamic Stability, Classical Feedback Control, and State-space Foundations

The textbook is for two one-semester courses in aircraft flight mechanics in an undergraduate aeronautical engineering curriculum, the first on performance and static stability and the second on dynamic stability and feedback control. The courses are typically taken in the junior year after a fundamental course in aeronautics. The second edition adds material on energy maneuverability, state-space analysis, insights on the A-10 design, and additional historical snapshots.
