MONICA MARISTAIN is an editor, journalist, and fiction writer. Born in Argentina, she has lived in Mexico since 2000. She has written for various national and international media, including the Argentine newspapers Clarin, Page 12, and The Nation, as well as for Playboy magazine. In 2009, Melville House published Roberto Bolano: The Last Interview, which features Maristain’s interview with Bolano, his last published conversation.
