商品簡介
Quantitative Intelligence Analysis describes a model-based method of intelligence analysis that explicitly represents the analyst's mental models of a subject, as well as the analyst's reasoning process. This book includes- computational models;
- dynamic simulations;
- interactive analytic games;
- and case studies of a range of intelligence problems.
作者簡介
Ed Waltz is chief scientist of intelligence, at BAE Systems Technology Solutions, where he leads intelligence research. He has led numerous hard target and counter denial and deception programs, applying computational modeling and simulations to understand target dynamics over the past decade for different agencies of the IC and DoD. He led the development of capabilities to understand physical target systems (underground facilities, dual-use facilities), foreign leadership, and foreign social systems. He has over 40 years of experience in developing and deploying signal processing, data fusion and analytic capabilities for intelligence. He is a recipient of the DoD Joseph Mignona Data Fusion Award (2004); he became a Veridian Technology Fellow in 2002 and a BAE Systems Engineering Fellow in 2009.
Before Joining BAE Systems in 2004, he led research at General Dynamics (and acquired predecessors at Veridan and ERIM 1993-2004). Prior to this, he developed capabilities in data fusion technology while at Allied-Signal (1968-1993) and deployed systems for overhead reconnaissance, airborne non-acoustic anti-submarine warfare, a space shuttle payload, and air combat target recognition.
