商品簡介
Fowler is an occupational therapist specializing in providing services for people with intellectual and physical disabilities. Here she explains how artificially engineered environments consisting of pieces of multi-sensory equipment can set a specific mood in the room for people who may have a combination of intellectual, physical, and sensory impairments and have trouble filtering sensory input. She first sets out the theory and practice, then describes equipment for touch, movement, seeing, hearing, and smell. There is no index. Annotation c2008 Book News, Inc., Portland, OR (booknews.com)
