Dr. Brown reviews Root Cause Analysis’ of medical Sentinel Events, providing feedback to Army Patient Safety Managers for process improvement. She served 21 years as an Army Nurse and is a veteran of the Persian Gulf War. She contributed clinical expertise for a ground nurse character in the book “Centerline”.
John T. James, PhD, Founder and CEO of Patient Safety America; Retired Chief Toxicologist, Federal Agency; Diplomat, American Board of Toxicology; Project Director, GBCS Healthcare Justice Grant; Author: “A Sea of Broken Hearts.” Dr. James contributed book chapters to the National Academies Press, Springer, Elsevier, Lea & Febiger, and Lippincott, Williams & Wilkins.
