PAMELA KATZ is a screenwriter, novelist, and adjunct professor of film at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. She co-wrote the screenplays to Margarethe von Trotta's film Rosenstrasse (2003), based on a true story of resistance to the Third Reich; The Other Woman (2005), a film about Stasi Romeos in former East Germany; and Remembrance (2011), a film based on a true story about a pair of lovers who escape Auschwitz only to lose each other in postwar Poland before reuniting thirty years later. Her latest project with von Trotta, a dramatic film titled Hannah Arendt, received international attention and acclaim. She lives in New York City with her family.
