Danielle Hammelef is the author of more than 12 books for children. She has also written award-winning stories for children’s magazines, nonfiction articles, poetry, and puzzles. Danielle uses math every day when adjusting recipes, counting music while playing her flute, and of course—shopping! Before becoming a freelance writer, Danielle earned a degree in engineering from Michigan Technological University. Danielle lives in Novi, Michigan, with her family.
