Informed by her experience as a classroom teacher, school leader, and Director of Innovation for the Colorado DOE, Gretchen Morgan invites teachers to reclaim their identity as creative, progressive thinkers. Based on an understanding of the history of American education and the economic drivers that demand change, Gretchen offers teachers reflective experiences and generative activities to prepare teachers to try something new and wise in their classroom tomorrow.

Gretchen Morgan has spent the past 20 years as an innovative educator; as an elementary teacher, middle and high school principal, K-12 program developer for Expeditionary Learning, and now Executive Director of Choice and Innovation for the Colorado Department of Education. Her best job, however, is being a mom to two wonderful kids who fill her up with imaginary friends, lacrosse, stories, bikes, ideas for businesses, and THE best hugs.
