商品簡介
Madge (National Children's Bureau, London) provides a study on present-day views of childhood and adult-child relationships from the perspectives of both. For the study, she interviewed 2000 students and 500 adults in England, and also drew conclusions from current literature and policy and practice perspectives. Themes considered include the meaning of childhood, growing up and becoming responsible, peer influences and parental controls, over-protection, status and respect, and communication. She also addresses whether England is a child-friendly society and how children's lives can be improved. Distributed in the US by ISBS. Annotation c2007 Book News, Inc., Portland, OR (booknews.com)
