商品簡介
Coler describes in detail the Aymara language as spoken by the people of Muylaque in southern Peru, a variety known as Muylaq' Aymara. Aymara is an agglutinative suffix-only language with a rich morphology, he says, and like other varieties, Muylaq' Aymara has four types of suffixes: nominal, verbal, transpositional, and suffixes not subcategorized for lexical category. In addition to those suffixes and their associated morphology, he covers phonetics, phonology, and loanwords and syntax. The study began as his 2010 doctoral dissertation at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, but he has expanded the description and revised some of his conclusions based on subsequent research.
