Interreligious Friendship After Nostra Aetate

The Declaration on the Relation of the Church to Non-Christian Religions (Nostra Aetate) of the Second Vatican Council (1962-1965) called for Roman Catholics to join together with those who follow other religious paths in a spirit of cooperation, esteem, humility, and dialogue. In the 50 years since the Council, Catholics across the globe have developed extraordinary friendships with those who follow other religious paths. This volume celebrates these interreligious friendships by letting Catholics, sometimes together with their non-Christian friends, tell their own stories.
