Abstracts and full papers explore the Mande language group in West Africa from the perspectives of lexicography, corpora, and concordances; comparative studies and typology; Manding and Mokole; Southern Mande; Eastern Mande; Soninke-Bozo and Susu; and Southwestern Mande. Among the topics are starting an online concordane for indigenous African scripts: a case of Vai, language contact between Mande and Atlantic in Guinea, vowel length in the Kakabe language, Northern Samo dialectology and language contact, and tonal systems in three dialects of the Kpelle language.
