Ivan Reis is a comic book artist born in 1976 in Sao Bernardo do Campo, Sao Paulo, Brazil. He started his U.S. career in the '90s, on Ghost and The Mask for Dark Horse. After pencilling an issue of THE INVISIBLES for Grant Morrison, he started a long run on Lady Death for Chaos Comics, then did The Avengers and The Vision, with Geoff Johns, for Marvel. In 2004 Reis began to work exclusively for DC. After illustrating such high-profile series as ACTION COMICS, INFINITE CRISIS and RANN-THANAGAR WAR, he started his now legendary run on GREEN LANTERN. Continuing his work with Johns, Reis pencilled the best-selling series BLACKEST NIGHT and BRIGHTEST DAY.
