He is co-author, with Lofgren, ofThe Secret World of Doing Nothing.Orvar Lofgren is professor emeritus of ethnology at Lund University. His publications also includeOn Holiday: A History of Vacationing. Richard Wilk is Provost’s Professor of anthropology at Indiana University. His publications include Fast Food/Slow Foodand Economies and Cultures (2nd edition, with Lisa Cliggett.) Wilk and Lofgren, together with Jessica Chelakis, are co-editors ofThe Anthropology of Everyday Life, a Rowman & Littlefield/Altamira series.
