Dave Broom is a much-traveled freelance drinks writer, who has worked in England, Scotland, the US, and Australia in the spirits, wine, and beer industries. He has written more than a dozen books, and twice received the coveted Glenfiddich Award for Whisky Writing. He regularly contributes to Wine and Spirit International, Whisky Magazine, andCaterer and Hotelkeeper magazines in the UK and travels the world spreading the word about his two favorite spirits, rum and whisky. When not traveling, he is based on England's south coast where he combines his time as a mixologist in a popular bar and writing.
