商品簡介
In order to explore the legal obligations insurers have to provide information to prospective customers, Loacker examines how the general idea of the information model is specifically implemented under English insurance contract law, and compares the results with the solutions found under both German law and the recently proposed Principles of European Insurance Contract Law. In addition to describing the solutions reached on these three levels, he consistently looks at the basic economic considerations that lie behind the various legal interventions. He also offers many policy recommendations by addressing the inherent limits of the information model, describing the potential for improvement in current laws, and making specific proposals to realize the improvement.
