商品簡介
This resource for residents on trauma surgery rotations provides information on the orthopedic management of traumatic injury in an easily accessible format. It begins with an overview of general principles, discussing such topics as stress fractures, gunshot injuries, and the biomechanics of fracture healing. The next three sections describe clinical protocols for treating specific types of injuries to the upper limbs, spine and pelvis, and lower limbs. Chapters in the final two sections deal with various fracture management techniques (plating, arthroplasty, etc.) and address infection and other complications. The volume is illustrated with b&w clinical photographs, drawings, and x-rays. Court-Brown teaches orthopedic trauma at the U. of Edinburgh.
