Carl-Gustaf Scott received his PhD in Modern European/Scandinavian History from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2005, and since then he has instructed graduate and undergraduate students at a number of different liberal arts colleges and research universities. He is a Guest Researcher in the Department of Social Science at Ersta Skondal University in Stockholm. Dr. Scott's research examines contemporary Swedish history in a broader, comparative, European context, and his work has, among other places, appeared in peer-reviewed journals such as The Journal of Contemporary History, European History Quarterly, Cold War History, The Scandinavian Journal of History, Social History and Immigrants and Minorities. He is currently finishing a monograph entitled:'Domestic Foreign Policy: Swedish Social Democracy, Europe, and the Vietnam War.'
