商品簡介
This book provides an innovative approach to autism, with a focus on executive function--how a person organizes, plans, manages time, uses his or her memory, directs his or her attention. The book introduces and expands upon the following principles: (1) the autistic mind can be seen as a chaotic space that needs order; (2) the autism experience can be structured via the use of executive functions; (3) the more functional the executive functions are, the more functional the social skills will become; and (4) autism requires more executive function structure and more precise executive function structure than neurotypicality. This book was inspired and written based on the ideas, research, and personal experiences of an autistic woman. Annotation c2016 Ringgold, Inc., Portland, OR (protoview.com)
