Understanding Conflict between Russia and the EU provides an innovative interpretation of EU-Russian relations, combining insights from both classical and contemporary critical theories of International Relations with a rich empirical analysis of conflicts between Russia and the EU. Sergei Prozorov received his doctoral degree from the University of Tampere, Finland and is presently University Lecturer in World Politics and Academy of Finland Research Fellow at the Department of Political and Economic Studies, University of Helsinki, Finland. He is the author of six monographs, the most recent being Agamben and Politics (2014). He has also published articles on political philosophy and international relations in Theory, Culture and Society; Political Studies; Philosophy and Social Criticism; Political Geography; International Theory and other major journals.
