作者簡介
PETER WADHAMS is Head of the Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics at the University of Cambridge and is now Professor of Oceanography, having also served as a Senior Research Fellow at Churchill College, Cambridge from 1983 to 1993. He made his first visit to the Arctic on board the HM submarine 'Oracle' in 1971, and has since made 44 further journeys. In 1987, he was awarded the Polar Medal by Her Majesty the Queen.
