He Carries Me

How many of you have been hurt from the hand of a loved one? If you are one of us, there is hope and peace and even joy. It’s hard to trust anyone who causes you pain. You don’t know what to do or whom to turn to. We open our mouths, but nothing comes out. Our voices are not heard. Sit back, and read my story, and see what God has done. Because God has a plan for all of us. God will take his place in you when you least expect it. We don’t have to see it coming; just wait for it. God is faithful; he has the last word on your life. This story is God’s and mine. It’s my testimony. It is not always pretty and is not always easy to write or read, but to me, it’s as beautiful as the cross of Jesus. Divine light.

I have four children and five grandchildren. I’ve been married to my husband for twenty-six years and we’ve been living together for a total of thirty years. We had our ups and downs like everyone else but luckily we have God who fights for us. God keeps us together because he loves us. Only God!

I was diagnosed with cancer last 2003 and it took seven years of my life before God entered in and took his place in me to win this fight. Don’t misunderstand me, God was always with me but in His time, I was healed.

I also minister to men and women in the New York Federal Prison with my husband and we make a great team. God took over our lives and turned it around for his glory.

So, I’ll leave you with this verse which I keep close to my heart.

“I have made you, I will carry you, I will sustain you and I will rescue you.”
