Doris Konig, M.C.L. (1982), Prof., Dr. iur. (1989) is a Professor of Public Law, European and International Law at Bucerius Law School, Hamburg. Her main research areas include European Union Law, International Environmental Law, the International Law of the Sea and Human Rights Law. She is the chairperson of the International Foundation for the Law of the Sea and has extensively published on law of the sea issues.Peter-Tobias Stoll, Prof., Dr. iur. (1993) is a Professor of Public Law and International Law at Gottingen University, Germany and a Director at the Institute of International Law and European Law. Together with Rudiger Wolfrum, he serves as general editor of the Max-Planck-Commentaries of World Trade Law. He chairs the International Economic Interest Group of the European Society of International Law. Also, he is the German Director of the Sino-German Institute for Legal Studies of the Universities of Nanjing and Gottingen.Volker Roben, Prof. Dr. iur., LLM, LLM, is Professor of Public International Law, Swansea University School of Law.Silja Voneky, Prof., Dr. jur. (2004) in International Law, George Washington University, is Head of the Minerva Research Group at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative Public Law and International Law in Heidelberg. She has published extensively on international human rights, international criminal law and comparative constitutional law including Prosecuting Serious Human Rights Violations (OUP 2009), and co-edited the Max Planck Commentaries on World Trade Law (Vol. 3, Brill 2007).Nele Matz-Luck, LL.M. (2001), Dr. jur. (2003) is a senior research fellow at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative Public Law and International Law, Heidelberg. Her research focus covers different fields of public international law including the law of the sea, international environmental law and the law of treaties. Holger Hestermeyer, Dr. iur. (2006) is head of the Otto Hahn Group at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative Public Law and International Law, Heidelberg.
