作者簡介
Patricia Higginbottom has worked at the Lister Hill Library of the Health Sciences at the University of Alabama at Birmingham for over 21 years. She has served in a variety of different positions from reference librarian to her current role as Associate Director for Public Services. LHL won an MLA Creative Marketing Award in 2008 and that year Pat also authored the chapter on marketing in the 2008 book, “Introduction to Health Sciences Librarianship.” She and Valerie teach a continuing education course on marketing and coordinate the marketing of their library in addition to their other roles.
Valerie Gordon has worked at University of Alabama Birmingham’s Lister Hill Library since 1990 and is currently Head of Cataloging and Marketing & Staff Development Coordinator. She began her career as a cataloger and later branched out into staff development and marketing. She and Pat share responsibility for marketing activities at Lister Hill Library and have developed a CE on marketing. Valerie received her Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science from the University of Maryland in College Park and a BA in English from Emory University.
