International Perspectives on Primary Care Research

Primary care research is essential to train primary health care providers, have equitable distribution of care, address the high need health demands and inform best practice. This book demonstrates the nature of primary care research and the inter-professional nature of the discipline and its researchers. It also examines how the evidence base from research can strengthen health care services and delivery through implementation science, tackle the growing burden of disease, improve quality and safety and increase a person-centred focus to health care.
