Carol Casselden is an award-winning photographer of gardens and plants.Fergus Garrett received horticultural training at Wye College, London University. He went to Great Dixter as head gardener in 1992 and worked closely with Christopher Lloyd for the next 15 years. He has since combined his full-time, hands-on gardening role at Dixter with writing, lecturing all over the UK, Europe, the US, Australia and New Zealand and, as Chief Executive of the Great Dixter Charitable Trust, moving the garden forward in ever more exciting directions.Christopher Lloyd (1921-2006) was a plantsman in a class of his own.
