作者簡介

Professor Paolo Davide Farah teaches climate change, trade, energy and environmental law and policy at West Virginia University, USA. Professor Farah has also variously taught classes on public international law, international economic law and WTO law, European Law, Comparative law and Chinese law at the Universities of Milan, Bologna and Turin, Italy. He has also taught in the UK, France and China, is Principal Investigator for FP7 EU Commission projects and is Director of Research of gLAWcal - Global Law Initiatives for Sustainable Development: . He is an expert in the interaction between trade, economic globalization and non-trade concerns, such as sustainable development, energy, environment and human rights with a special focus on China and other Asian countries. He was an International Consultant and Legal Advisor for a project by the United Nations Development Program for the Italian Ministry of Economic Development and Commerce and for the OECD. Professor Farah is an Appointed Member of the International Law Association - ILA Committee on Sustainable Development and the Green Economy in International Trade Law and of the ILA Committee on the Role of International Law in Sustainable Natural Resource Management for Development. He has previously worked at the Legal Affairs Division of the World Trade Organization in Geneva, and was an Associate Lawyer of Baker & McKenzie Law Firm, Milan, Italy.
